The NAFTI Journal Committee, on behalf of the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for its maiden edition of the NAFTI Journal of Media and Creative Arts (NJMCA) - a peer-review journal that seeks to advance knowledge and practice in all areas of Film, Broadcast Media and the Creative Arts.
The NJMCA seeks to publish authors who strive to produce original, insightful, interesting, and theoretically solid research. Submissions of abstracts are invited on all aspects of media (creative arts practice, film and television production, media policy, aesthetics and pedagogy). Submissions relating to emerging issues in the media industry, production processes, discourses and education are welcome. Likewise, both local and global geopolitics of media practices including transmedia and its impact on narrative in film, television and other broadcast media will also be accepted.
The Committee calls for abstracts of not more than 250 words. The abstract should highlight the problem being investigated. It must include methodology, significance of the study, as well as its findings. Abstract should be written in Corbel typeface and justified with one inch margin. It must not include a citation.
