Academic Affairs

The Office of the Dean/Director of Academics is committed to helping all students and faculty at the Institute reach their fullest potential. Our office provides a variety of student support services along with opportunities for leadership experience, diverse student work environments, engaging programming and specialized resources. The Office has oversight responsibility of the following academic departments: Film Artistic, Film Techniques, Production and Business Development, Multimedia Production, Broadcast Journalism and the Library.

Other services such as Student Counselling and Student Academic Mentorship fall under the mandate of the office. Admissions, Curriculum development, revision and approval, new faculty programs, affiliation and accreditation processes, examinations and assessment of student learning and outcomes, course schedule approval, development of new policies and procedures for students and faculty matters and new student orientation are some of the activities under the purview of the office.
