Marian Mantey, PR Officer of UniMAC - NAFTI Emerges as One of the Winners at the Ghana Public Sector Awards 2023

My first encounter with Marian was when she appeared before a recruitment committee as one of the potential candidates for the vacant PR position. She appeared simple, and well-organized and wowed the panel members with her brilliant ideas.

Fast forward, Marian as Head of PR at UniMAC – NAFTI had to comprehensively generate PR strategies to hit the ground running. Within a short space, she has managed to get Management, Staff, and all Stakeholders to support the PR Strategies. Working with her closely as a Publicity Committee Member, her understanding of PR issues is unmatched, brilliant coordination skills, excellent work ethics, and good human relations are the top-notch qualities of such a gem.  She has a penchant for perfection. Projects undertaken by the committee had to go through a stringent process before it is approved by all stakeholders for publication.

Her passion and drive for PR have within a short space given the Institute traction and visibility. We thought she was gradually carving an enviable niche for herself not knowing she is also gaining recognition from industry players.
