Works and Physical Development

The Technical Department provides support for the day-to-day running of the Institute. This is executed by experienced technicians from various units in the department including electrical/electronic engineering, IT engineering, Automobile/Transport engineering, Scenery Construction, and Refrigeration.

The department is responsible for the design, testing, construction, installation, and maintenance of key facilities run by the Institute including broadcast television studios, radio studios, sound studios, post-production studios, etc. The department provides technical specifications for procurement and other projects undertaken by the Institute.
