Graphic Design
Students are taken through graphic design formats and printing techniques, layout, typography, image, and color. An introduction to elements of design, spatial relationships, typography, and imagery as they apply to practical visual solutions for self-promotion, resumes, logo design, Web design, and sequential systems. This course instructs the student in graphic design skills by employing traditional and digital tools, materials, and procedures employed in the communication arts industry. The course is also intended to help students understand clearly the theories underpinning motion graphics. Various theories on semiotics and motion graphics will be taught and students will have to apply them in their respective project works. Students will explore the various areas where motion graphics are employed.
